This is a dub of several 16mm films from the 1940s that were label "Detective Training" and were marked Wichita, Kansas Police Department. The are missing sections, but cover aspects of police work as it existed at that time. There wasn't available information that came with the films, so it's uncertain if they were shot in Wichita.

50S Drive-in Film Butcher Intermission, 1982. In the early 80s I managed a drive-in movie theater in Emporia, KS, it was owned by a theater chain so I had little say over what movies were shown and I'd get stuck running all night marathons of film. I got bored one night and recut a pile of junk film into my own parody of the intermission reel, it was designed to mess with the audience. The film is all 35mm and it's one of the first film cut ups that I created, it's video taped off of a movie...

This type of picture was shown as part of a touring show that went across the country to bring the latest in sales messages to the employees of Phillips 66. This is a video clip that was recorded by Ruth Sanderson of a slide lecture by Charles H. Sanderson shot in the late 1980s. The slide images are washed out due to the low-tech nature of the 8mm camcorder used at the time. But, it's still nice to see and hear him talk about his works and painting methods.
